About The Chef
My Story
My family opened an authentic Thai restaurant in Encinitas, California, USA in the late 80’s called Siamese Basil where I worked in the early 10’s having recently before discovered my interest in the Thai cuisine which has since expanded to Japan and the Japanese cuisine as well where I have travelled several times to take sushi courses and afterwards worked in sushi restaurants in Zurich, Switzerland. However, as I gathered experience one idea became more and more prevalent on my mind: to open my own restaurant. As my main areas of expertise are the Thai and Japanese cuisines respectively I wanted to combine them and offer up something contemporary yet still authentic and this is the result of that. So, feel free to come down and say hello and try authentic Thai and Japanese dishes!
